Zahir Ali, born in August 25 Agustus 1987. He won the Formula BMW Asian series 2007 as the Champion, and He is the #1 Indonesian Formula Driver who won the championship. After competing in WORLD FINAL Formula BMW 2007 in Valencia, Spain, Zahir join the Formula 3 All Japan series in 2008 and finished the season with 4th position in Championship. Formula 3 has been the first step to a racing career in higher categories such as GP2, Formula Nippon, or even Formula 1, the top racing series in the world. Different national F3 championships including British F3, F3 Euro Series and Japanese F3 are run according to the FIA regulation. F3 cars are monocoque chassis, using slick racing tyres and wings. |
